Well no luck here with this kernel Are you sure you booted the kernel twice and it still does not work? The problem is, that as soon as you boot a broken kernel (in fact it could work once, it breaks on shutdown and survives a reboot), booting the fixed kernel will also be broken (it get fixed on shutting down the fixed kernel). I added fixes for bug #179702. As soon as a kernel update comes out, could you try again, please and boot into this one without booting another kernel in between several times. The kernel fixed kernel should also shutdown cleanly. To avoid the thermal shutdown adding a "1" as boot parameter (as a workaround to get the fixed kernel booted and shutting down cleanly to get Embeddeded Controller in working state again). I set this one to fixed for now. Please verify and open it again if you are sure the added patches do not fix your problem. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
