https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=365111 Summary: KDE doesn't start with message "Could not start kstartconfig. Check your installation" Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: 64bit OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: KDE AssignedTo: kde-maintainers@suse.de ReportedBy: timmi@gmx-topmail.de QAContact: qa@suse.de CC: timmi@gmx-topmail.de Found By: --- I've worked fine since octuber 2007 with KDE on 10.3. When I wanted to start KDE, after entering user name and password at KDE, I got the message "Could not start kstartconfig. Check your installation". (It's a small message box in the upper left corner - with window decorations who are not in KDE style. I didn't figure out how to make a screenshot.) I have no idea why this happens as it was working fine for a long time. Only the one user I usually use is affected. With other users, KDE starts fine. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
