When I wanted to start KDE, after entering user name and password at KDE, I got the message "Could not start kstartconfig. Check your installation". (It's a small message box in the upper left corner - with window decorations who are not in KDE style. I didn't figure out how to make a screenshot.) I have no idea why this happens as it was working fine for a long time. Only the one user I usually use is affected. With xterm I found out what's the problem: The owner of the home directory had changed. - My error. Sorry for inconvenience. (I had installed an 11.0 alpha on another partition, and the new 11.0 installer recognized my home partition from 10.3 and mounted it as /home. The installation crashed. Two weeks later, I tried another time to start the broken 11.0 from the HD. I've created a user, and the installation program told me that the home directory yet exists - if I want to change the owner.
