https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=262328 ------- Comment #2 from nderkach@gmail.com 2007-04-10 13:10 MST ------- For me it seems to be two cases: desktop system with not many users - in this case one can use icons for users, and a multi-user system - in this case icons sre inapplicable. In the first case one can simply click on icon and even don't need to input user name. Really, no need to display user name in the prompt if the icon is selected. In multi-user case it's also worth to make a sigle line which acts in the foloowing manner: User is propted to input username, after that he presses tab or enter, then he is prompted for password for _username_. That's not a innovation and it's used in gdm (for example), just seems to be more comefortable for me. After all I just want the second to be optional. But for desktop system with less users removing username prompt in my opinion is essential. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
