Any reasons why you want to use startx, when there is already a displaymanager running? It's not recommended to use startx let alone supported. We have several displaymanagers you can chose from independant of the graphical sessions you want to run (xdm, gdm, sddm, lightdm, ...).
Startx can initialize at one set of arbitrary Xorg specifications by one "user" on :0, initialize by another "user" at another arbitrary set of Xorg specifications on :1, initialize by yet another "user" at yet another set of arbitrary specifications on :2, etc. openSUSE and Xorg are provided as multi-user systems. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
