You reported two issues in one bug report:
1. After suspend to disk the printer does not work.
2. A YaST printer config issue.
Please file separated bug reports for different issues.
According to the subject of this bug report, I focus only on the
"usb printer not working after suspend to disk" issue.
Please provide information what "does not work" exactly
means in your case so that we have a chance to reproduce it.
