I'm having the same issue here. The way I can replicate this bug is to do the following: 1) Log into Gnome as a user and open Evolution, it prompts for keyring password 2) Log out of Gnome and go to GDM 3) Ctrl+Alt+Backspace the X session 4) Log back into Gnome as the user 5) Open Evolution, no keyring password prompt, just server password
It seems like this bug is an issue with Evolution and the keyring manager.
Evolution stores password in gnome-keyring, since 2.8.x. Please check whether your keyring daemon is running or not. If not, try running it - IIRC, its more like ssh-agent, you have to export PID and SOCKET_ID. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
