All the other modules are missing (i2o_config,i2o_block ....). The i2o_module is loading during boot, but no harddiscs/raids are recognized at the Adaptec Controller. Workaround for me was: - unload the i2o_core module - load the dpt_i2o module - install openSuSE - in the running system before booting again put the i2o_core and the i2o_block modules in /etc/sysconfig/kernel - mkinitrd - remove the dpt_i2o module from same file - modify /boot/grub/menu.lst: /dev/sda... to /dev/i2o/hda... - modify /etc/fstab change /dev/sda.. to /dev/i2o/hda... - reboot System is working now... -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
