Just using raw_input() does not help. You will have to import readline.
That is really one of the craziest joshes:
A method called 'readline' that is performing raw input besides a function
called raw_input() that is at first really performing raw input but only for
the case that the readline library is imported decides to get overloaded by
readline´s readline.
* a builtin function like raw_input() is not expected to be overloaded by a
module import (like import readline)
* apparantly no input function is offered by the readline module (like e.g.
readline.input() or readline.readline()
* identifiers that make the user believe quite the opposite of what they really
implement
i.e. Importing the readline module should either offer a static function like
readline.input() or better overload the readline method of file objects. The
raw_input() builtin is not expected to be touched.
