If I boot the system while a USB device is connected, I only get a black screen. I tried a usb keyboard and a usb mouse. Everything works if I plug them in after booting. I am sorry but I do not know how to obtain more information, since the screen stays black. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Plug in USB devices. Start machine. (USB works in grub) --> Black screen after grub. 2. Unplug USB devices. Start machine.
