https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=433088 Summary: Network crashes on Optiplex 740 Product: openSUSE 11.0 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: Kernel AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: fcastelli@novell.com QAContact: qa@suse.de CC: mcowley@novell.com Found By: --- Me and several people in our team have random network crashes on our Dell Optiplex 740 machines. The network is simply gone and can only be reanimated by rebooting the machine. The problem seems to get worse over time. At first I had it once within the first 3 weeks and now it's getting more frequent (today I had to reboot five times). When the crash happens nothing relevant is reported inside kernel's logs. Route seems fine but I'm unable to ping other machine using their ip addresses. Unfortunately I'm unable to reproduce this bug. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
