On the desktop I see a folder called "Desktop Folder" with two icons "Home" and "Trash". Yes, "Split" is the icon in the toolbar that splits the view.
Ok, thanks for clarifying. I started dolphin from the K-Menu, opened the "Desktop" folder and went back to $HOME... Although I think that shouldn't really make a difference. I tried again like you say though, but still cannot reproduce the crash here.
No, the Dolphin window just disappears. I will try to create a backtrace with the final Leap release once it is available.
Yes, please. If you can still reproduce the crash, try running dolphin in a terminal window (Konsole e.g.), maybe you get some helpful output. And/or run it with "gdb dolphin", type in "run", and reproduce the crash.
