However, it seems to be broken on my Tumbleweed installation. It only works on Firefox, but not on any other app I tried. I use mainly KDE apps. fc-match emoji NotoColorEmoji.ttf: "Noto Color Emoji" "Regular" As reported in https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1085769 the test file with a UTF8 encoded emoji launched with
pango-view --font "emoji" /tmp/emoji.txt also gives just a blank gap on my system.
