Created attachment 834097 [details] screenshot of emjoi selector Dear all, since plasma ships now with "Emoji Selector", I got interested in working with emojis. However, it seems to be broken on my Tumbleweed installation. It only works on Firefox, but not on any other app I tried. I use mainly KDE apps. fc-match emoji NotoColorEmoji.ttf: "Noto Color Emoji" "Regular" As reported in https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1085769 the test file with a UTF8 encoded emoji launched with > pango-view --font "emoji" /tmp/emoji.txt also gives just a blank gap on my system. rpm -qa | grep emoji noto-coloremoji-fonts-20191119-1.1.noarch plasma5-desktop-emojier-5.18.3-1.1.x86_64 ibus-dict-emoji-1.5.22-3.1.noarch I have a number of texlive fonts installed and have a copy of https://github.com/google/fonts in the folder ~/.fonts/google-webfonts .
