Sorry for my misjudgement - googling for unichrome always leads to the more or
less abandoned sourceforge rcs. I am very sorry for that mistake.
Now I also tried unichrome:
git clone git://people.freedesktop.org/~libv/xf86-video-unichrome
cd xf86-video-unichrome
/autogen.sh --prefix=/usr
make
checkinstall
and installed that package via yast, while also removing the openchrome-rpm
from comment 6.
I restarted the whole system, and - unfortunately the X-Server crashes again
when playing, actually ending videos (e.g. while playing videos, I close that
program).
(I am a bit confused, because cat /var/log/Xorg.0.log | grep openchrome leads
to an openchrome as autoconfigured driver 1, because the UNICHROME-driver made
from git...unichrome (see above) includes "openchrome - Wrapper for VIA
Unichrome video driver." I do not believe this to be a good idea, since with
both unichrome from OSS and openchrome from obs-X11-drivers installed I could
always be shure that the 'real' openchrome was installed and loaded (or not,
according to the device section in xorg-conf).
