I did now a new installation of 12.3, now using grub2 for boot. Result: Screen resolution is max 1024x768, although card and monitor can do 1600x1200. Any option higher than 1024x768 is not offered. Re-using the files under /etx/X11/xorg.conf.d causes the X-Server to hang. How can I set-up the graphics to use 1280x1024 (which is not offered at all at the moment)?
