http://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1094789 Bug ID: 1094789 Summary: Leap 15.0 live KDE ISO: Xorg won't start as normal user in VirtualBox Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: Leap 15.0 Hardware: Other OS: Other Status: NEW Severity: Major Priority: P5 - None Component: X.Org Assignee: xorg-maintainer-bugs@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: sb56637@gmail.com QA Contact: xorg-maintainer-bugs@forge.provo.novell.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- Hi, I just tested openSUSE-Leap-15.0-KDE-Live-x86_64-Snapshot17.8-Media.iso in VirtualBox. Xorg won't start, and `startx` doesn't work with the live "linux" user account. `startx` does work after `su root`. The same image burned to a USB drive does work normally on a real computer, so something is apparently weird with the VirtualBox integration. The current openSUSE-Tumbleweed-KDE-Live-x86_64-Snapshot20180525-Media.iso does *not* have this problem. I also created my own live ISO with Kiwi based on Leap 15.0, and this bug does *not* occur. I'll attach screenshots. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
