On openSuSE 10.2 this didn't work automatically. It is maybe not enough for upstream inclusion yet, because I need to find out about possible platforms where this (change of) behaviour does not make place. I need to further think about this and discuss with upstream. The first one I noticed comes up right after the first reboot on fetching the metadata (packages.de) from the ftp server. It shows "Retrieving file" iirc. I could not grab a screenshot, as this one went away to fast. Second I noticed comes up on installing patches (only during installation?), the whole output for fetchmsttfonts.sh is in english as well as the notice for fetching patches, e.g. "Retrieving openssl...". Replacing the x86_64 version of NX with the NX-1.5.0-73.i586.rpm 32 bit package instead allows freenx to function. It seems to be a well known truth in the NX community that the software is hopelessly 32 bit dependent and merely getting it to compile in 64 bits won't actually make it work.
