The issue is the same on both a desktop computer and a Centrino laptop and happens with two different HDD cases and two different drives. On SuSE 10.1 I used to have transfer rates around 10MB/s, now it is far less than 1MB/s. This is slightly incorrect, the one in /usr/lib should be provided *instead* of the one in /lib.
