If a package is not available, one gets a dialog show with three options: Abort Retry Ignore Choosing Abort and Ignore both stops the installation and calls SuSEconfig. As long as neither GNOME or KDE is running, the powersave daemon cares about it like changing the policy when the AC adapter is unplugged and the like. That's an important disadvantage regarding GNOME and laptops in the current state. The problem is that g-p-m 2.17.2 which includes this CPUFreq stuff is labeled as an unstable release.
