CUPS will not open, compalaining about cannot open/find: http://localhost:631 Things seem to work if hosts allow is set to (but this exposes my machine - correct? hence the critical ranking for this bug) cupsd : ALL : ALLOW suse firewall settings seem to have no effect? Are the Suse firewall and hosts.deny, hosts.allow mutually exclusive? If so, perhaps some indication/hint can be provided in the firewall GUI that the settings are likely to have no effect/protection? Therefore its most logical place is the totem-plugin subpackage and not the totem main package. Moving the file from totem to totem-plugin also protects against problems in case the libexecdir is ever changed. The only place where it is being hard-coded is ./browser-plugin/totemPlugin.cpp, which gets linked into the plugin libraries only and not into the main executable. Keeping these (the plugins and the totem-mozilla-viewer executable) together makes sure that they always match. Such things should at least be made dependant of the MAC address. Multiple entries should never appear in this file for *identical* physical network interfaces (i. e. devices with identical MAC-Adresses, as they are definitively unique). Similar issues seem to appear when interfaces are deleted, but the corresponding entries do not get deleted out of this file consistently, leading to varying names of the interface(s). The minimum check that should be undertaken is something like a short awk test prior to rewriting this file whether the SYSFS{address} entrie would be duplicated. This issue is fixable by setting in /etc/sysconfig/network/config FORCE_PERSISTENT_NAMES=no, but I do not think this is how it is meant to be. I have an old sudoers file from 10.1 and tried to compare them, and couldn't find what can cause the error. Attached are the two files (one created by Yast which doesn't work and the one which works), but with modified user name and commands.
