Booting with Grub is managed by LEAP 15.5. In addition, I tried to Install Debian 12 and in the course of that, the Swap partition was formatted and it had a new UUID assigned to it. This caused a problem, since the swap drive is used in the kernel parameters in Grub and referenced by UUID: ``` linux /boot/vmlinuz-6.4.0-150600.23.17-default ... resume=/dev/disk/by-uuid/[SOMERANDOMHEXSTRING] ... ``` As a consequence, booting didn't work any more and I had to remove the 'resume'-entry manually in the Grub menu as a workaround. This way, I could boot LEAP 15.5 and then update the kernel parameters in the YAST bootloader section and start the OS-Prober, which apparently, managed to update the entry for LEAP 15.5, so this works now. However, it was not possible to make this working for LEAP 15.6. I also tried to edit /boot/grub2/grub.cfg, but the OS Prober of LEAP 15.5 updates the resume entry always with the old faulty value for the UUID. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
