For me it does not suffice to change the path. Apparently I have both docbook4 and docbook5 and even with the docbook4 stylesheet path the man page is mangled. I used this command line: /usr/bin/xsltproc \ -o xsltproc \ --nonet \ --stringparam man.output.quietly 1 \ --stringparam funcsynopsis.style "ansi" \ /usr/share/xml/docbook/stylesheet/nwalsh/current/manpages/docbook.xsl When I open the manpage, everything looks fine.
