All Xilinx default device trees contain pinctrl descriptions which requires pincontrol driver to be up and running. Without it, all Xilinx released DTBs for evaluation boards won't work because kernel is waiting for pinctrl to be up. Here are upstream patches which are in v5.13-rc1. 1dccb5ec0123 ("dt-bindings: pinctrl: Add binding for ZynqMP pinctrl driver") fa989ae7c7b3 ("firmware: xilinx: Add pinctrl support") 8b242ca700f8 ("pinctrl: Add Xilinx ZynqMP pinctrl driver support") Driver should be enabled by default as y (not module) to make sure that compiled in drivers can set up IO pins properly. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
