/etc/default/grub and /boot/grub2/grub.cfg from TW host ab250
initial summary: no cursor after using e in plain text grub-efi menu
First noticed in TW20180712 and continues in 20180714.
After entering "e" on any plain text grub-efi boot menu, there is no kind of
cursor blinking anywhere, and as a practical matter it's not possible to do any
editing of grub stanzas. All keyboard keys seem to work, but without cursor
they're virtually useless.

Build Identifier:
This happens in both Leap 15.0 and Tumbleweed.
When I login to a Plasma5-Wayland session, "ssh-agent" is not running for the
desktop session. This happens whether I use SDDM or GDM for the login manager.
I'm aware that Plasma5-Wayland isn't really ready for prime time. Still, it
would be nice to have this fixed by the time Leap 15.0 is officially released.
My current workaround -- I'm starting "ssh-agent" in the shell startup file
(with cross checks so that it isn't started if already running).
Reproducible: Always

I tried updating a zone in Yast2. Adding a A record for an IP alias address.
When I save it the zone (pce23.net) is not updated in /var/lib/named/dyn
I updated again today (10 Jan 2017) adding a new A record and after exit and
reload the zone is not changed. The date of the zone file remains the original
date

I saved the log with save_y2logs and attach it here (it is big > 5mb)

I enter the automatic update configuration from gui and enable it.
I click on OK - it closes as if everything was fine.
I enter the automatic update configuration again and I see it is disabled - so
all my changes were disregarded
So I switch to console yast.
I enable auto update in the config - click ok and now i get prompted to trust
pgp keys for certain repos.
After having dont that and and reruning the console yast auto update config
again I see that now the changes persisted.
I now tried to lunch gui version and it also shows auto update as enabled.
I tired to disable this feature in gui to check if gui yast can do it. It
failed t apply changes again.
COnclusion:
FOr some reason gui yast auto update config fails to save that the feature is
enabled or disabled.

Tumbleweeed.
The same result as on Leap15. All RX and all TX packages are dropped
Connection is established, signal strength is good, IP is obtained, Routing is
set to default gw received from 4g modem, DNS servers are also received.
Cannot even ping gateway.
The same setup works as soon as I boot Ubuntu with no different settings in

The .qcow2 images are meant to work fine on systems with EFI (optionally secure
boot) and without, so they have both i386-pc and x86_64-efi targets of grub2
installed by kiwi during image building. Kiwi sets LOADER_TYPE="grub2-efi" for
this.
When booting the image without EFI though, this is not changed by anything and
so update-bootloader only manages the x86_64-efi target of grub2. As the
grub.cfg file is in the same location, there aren't any immediate issues, but
it means that grub is never updated in those deployments.
