Very frequently, the name 'Bernhard M Wiedemann' is mistyped in openQA, most commonly with a lower-case M for the middle name. In many cases, this 'could be ignored', but often there are modules further down the line that have a login mask where the name then mismatches. ## Reproducible Fails since about the snapshot 20181214 often but not always ## Problem Dimstar et al also looked into this issue. Neither Leap (same openqa instance) nor SLE (different instance) seem to show this kind of issue - which in turn seems to point towards a product issue. Debian removed libjasper with the release of Debian Stretch [2] in 2017. I try to motivate upstream to clean up its bugtracker and help fixing current issues and CVEs while I work on the fixes, I would like to minimize JasPer usage in openSUSE and use OpenJPEG [3] as a replacement when possible. When the browser window initially appears, it is completely blank. Widgets (buttons, pull-down menus, the location bar, the progress bar, etc.) do not get drawn until the mouse passes over them or until the entire browser window is manipulated in some way, such as by dragging or lowering. Even then, the widgets tend to flicker or disappear. The rendering of the web page has similar problems -- it doesn't appear at all at first, and when it finally does appear, it is very glitchy. Due to this limitation a workaround was added in the X server [1] so the server exits as soon as it detects logind was stopped or restarted. However since v234, logind saves/reloads the fds before/after restarting so the revocation logic continue to work properly. Therefore the workaround [1] mentioned above is no more needed. However it's still not clear what should be done if logind is stopped completely. It's being discussed here [2]. This bug was opened so this issue is not lost on our side. Yesterday I installed Leap 15.0 from openSUSE-Leap-15.0-DVD-x86_64-Build161.1-Media.iso. Then I installed all necessary libraries for the IBM Notes Client 9.0.1 and then the client itself. There was a warning during the installation, when I installed Fixpack3. When I start the IBM Notes Client 9.0.1, it crashes. I tried to start it before and after the installation of Fixpack3. Same result. With Leap 42.3 everything is fine and working correctly. Find attached: 2018-03-16 Notes-Install-Libraries.log ---> Logfile of the library-installation 2018-03-16 Notes-Installation.log ---> Logfile of the notes-installation, including a warning. 2018-03-16 Notes-Start.log ---> Starting the client before the installation of Hotfix3. 2018-03-16 Notes-Start_2.log ---> Starting the client after the installation of Hotfix3. On 2017-06-09 I reported a similar bug (ID 1043519), when installing and starting the IBM Notes Client 9.0-1 on Tumbleweed, but I never got a reaction on that report.
