Having RPM build tests for a package on variable set of different RPM-based. [1] https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/home:k_mikhail/test_012 >From .spec: BuildRequires: help2man This is needed to create man-page for package. [1] https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/home:k_mikhail/test_012 For s390x arch there is a problem of missing gcc48 for opesnSUSE_42.3_Ports (nothing provides gcc48 needed by gcc). Simultaneously building under SLE platform for s390x is successful. Can gcc48 be fixed for s390x ports for openSUSE? But once this summary is accepted, the Expert Partitioner is completely closed, and there is no hint about what is happening under the hood. Were all the changes correctly applied? Has it already finished? Or is it still working? No way to know. Maybe there should be an extra step dialog saying something like: "applying changes". SUSE traditionally used "nfsserver" and "nfs" for these, and yast2 still uses these names. nfs-utils for suse provides gateway services (nfs.service and nfsserver.service) which attempts to allow the old names to work transparently, but this is error prone and not a good long term solution. It would be good to deprecate the old names and standardize on the upsrteam names. One part of this is to change yast2-nfs-server and yast2-nfs-client to use the new names. Still the clock had not been set correctly (e.g. from NTP). Also (as opposed to an installation), you can select language and keyboard layout before upgrading, but you cannot set or confirm the clock settings (e.g. timezone). Specifically if an Internet connection is available during upgrade, NTP could be used to set the clock. After Upgrade I got these messages in first boot: Mai 30 00:34:18 i7.site /usr/lib/gdm/gdm-x-session[3403]: Fontconfig warning: Directory/file mtime in the future. New fonts may not be detected. rpm -qa --last shows the latest installations at: caribou-gtk3-module-0.4.21-lp151.4.3.x86_64 Do 30 Mai 2019 02:00:50 CEST caribou-lang-0.4.21-lp151.4.3.noarch Do 30 Mai 2019 02:00:49 CEST caribou-gtk-module-common-0.4.21-lp151.4.3.x86_64 Do 30 Mai 2019 02:00:49 CEST Probably the installation kernel applied timezone correction to an RTC time that was local time already (Dual boot with Windows 7). I can use w3m to the same URL and results are delivered, of course not as beautifully presented as what we're used to when Javascript is available. Ubuntu has been using zsync for this purpose since many years. User Story: I as a Live ISO user am running openSUSE-Tumbleweed-KDE-Live-x86_64-Snapshot20180530-Media.iso and I would like to "upgrade" to the latest one, openSUSE-Tumbleweed-KDE-Live-x86_64-Snapshot20180606-Media.iso. If there was a .zsync file available at https://download.opensuse.org/tumbleweed/iso/, I would have to download only a few MB. (Since there is none available today, I need to re-download the full ISO image.)
