This is similar to #977944 but in this case I do not get any error messages in journalctl about privoxy entering 'failed' state. Also `systemctl status privoxy.service` shows that privoxy is up and running. When a wired connection is present at boot, everything works nicely, even if the wired connection is removed and one switches to wlan. But my main problem is the dependency of javapackages-tools to a lot of python-packages, especially python-pyxb. KIWI uses the default features from /etc/mke2fs.conf U-Boot does not support ext4 with enabled 64bit feature. Thus this affects any system using U-Boot which stores kernel and initrd on the root filesystem. (e.g. rpi3 uses a seperate ext3 /boot partition, Pine64 uses the ext4 / root filesystem) The issue can be worked around by e.g.: "tune2fs -O ^64bit /dev/sdc2; e2fsck -y /dev/sdc2; resize2fs -s /dev/sdc2" assuming sdc2 is the root filesystem partition on the SD card. Searching https://software.opensuse.org/search for search term commander produces no hits for Midnight Commander or mc. Search term mc is not acceptable to https://software.opensuse.org/search, as it rejects two character search strings, first by announcement, then when proceeding anyway, searching for mc only as a substring, listing many packages containing string mc but not mc itself. I tried searching for latest mc on https://build.opensuse.org/search but as I am not a builder I found it too difficult to use to locate latest (mc-4.8.14) even with help from irc://freenode/opensuse-factory. How since a few weeks the whole website became super slow. Viewing regular package pages or repository enable/disable sites, which I usually quickly click to avoid redundant rebuilds. See also https://github.com/openSUSE/open-build-service/issues/586 I usually only branch or create packages via the web interface and use osc with local builds and only commit stuff that works. But with the current response time it is far too tedious. Pages take several minutes to load for me. Tested on multiple V-DSL connections at various day times. Now this is only noticed when users open up yast (and possibly odd 3'rd party apps) It's rather visually unpleasing, and something we should look into fixing. The easiest thing to do would probably be to add it to one of our branding packages, or even create a new one if needed. Ideally we should offer a "system option" in tweak tool, but that will probably be a lot of work. Running the btrfs maintenance jobs, e.g. * /etc/cron.monthly/btrfs-scrub * /etc/cron.weekly/btrfs-balance * /etc/cron.weekly/btrfs-trim can make the clock with seconds displayed stop for some seconds or the mouse cursor to get stuck for seconds ## Reproducible * Somehow cause lot of "dirty" data that needs balancing/scrubbing * Run the cron jobs * Observe the system responsiveness is hindered ## Expected result Interactive use of a machine should not be impacted ## Suggestion It looks like /usr/share/btrfsmaintenance/btrfs-scrub.sh checks for the variable "$BTRFS_SCRUB_PRIORITY" equalling "normal" from /etc/sysconfig/btrfsmaintenance but this is set to "idle" for me in the config file which causes that no I/O scheduling parameters are forwarded to the call of scrub at all which does not seem to make sense to me. Whatever is causing the problem apparently it got fixed in tumbleweed (xfig works fine also with noto-sans-cjk-fonts installed). The notification frame shows up, but no content and then the complete desktop freezes. Killing and restarting plasmashell cures the problem for a short time - til one of the the next notifications wants to display something. It doesn't happen for all notifications, though. Using tools like notify-send the problem can not be reproduced, but notifications stemming from plasma-nm and plasma-workspace itself (like the one for a removed plasmoid) always lead to the freeze. The system originally was openSuSE Leap 42.2, but because of the problem I upgraded step by step to - the latest kernel from the kernel stable repo, - the latest X server plus everyting from the X11:Xorg repo - and the latest plasma workspace including everything from the KDE:Framework5 repo. The problem remained unchanged, though. A few more facts: - The X server is xf86-video-intel. - Switching off the compositor doesn't help either. - Everything worked with Leap 42.1 - No according entry in the journal or .xsession-errors* can be found. - And a curiosity: After removing .config/plasmarc and restarting plasmashell the problem vanishes for a few hours or even a day, before it comes back. - Logging off or restarting the machine doesn't help in case the problems exists at that time. In found a few bug reports for plasma freezes, but none of them seems to fit exactly. Adding the group 'games' and adding the user to that group solved the issue. Now whenever I run getmail, which grabs mail from my ISP's IMAP server and hands it off to my local Dovecot IMAP server for delivery, I get the following error messages: msg 25/29 (6757 bytes) from <torontocbm-bounce(a)freelists.org>, delivery error (command deliver 4511 wrote to stderr: lda(psy,)Error: net_connect_unix(/var/run/dovecot/stats-writer) failed: Permission denied) Delivery error (command deliver 4513 wrote to stderr: lda(psy,)Error: net_connect_unix(/var/run/dovecot/stats-writer) failed: Permission denied) While Dovecot successfully delivers the mail, the error message it throws makes getmail think that delivery was not successful, and so getmail never deletes the message from the remote server. So I'm ending up with lots of duplicate copies of messages on my local machine. Dig into this issue I see weird behavior below: 1) at the beginning 'Primary Functions' and 'Kubic Stack' does not appear while scroll down the list to the bottom side, however after that, move to the top side these two entries appears at the top side. 2) press 'end' move the focus to the bottom side, and start repeating send 'up' key, till the focus was on the 'Server Functions' then press 'up' key again the next one is 'Kubic Stack'[2], and send 'up' key again the focus is lost[3], keep sending 'up' key the scroll bar does not change, now drag the scroll bar to the top side, I see 'Primary Functions' and 'Kubic Stack' is there, and the focus is on the 'Primary Functions' entry. issues lead us so confused the ordering of entries(and timing to resort entries) and pattern's visible/invisible, and thought that entry appeared suddenly at some point is a real bug.
