There is a xz.tar ball of /var/log/Yast2/ directory, screenshot of Yast2 partitioner - "For experts" -> "Start with current partitions configuration" and output of lvs command. All of them has been created in installation system running from CD, image downloaded 20. 12. 2018, reload something (default answer YES to query) before installation begin. Original machine (hw) is not accessible. Used machine is different, my own home computer with openSUSE 42.3 installed. There are two HDDs (sda, sdb) and their partitions sda2 and sdb2 joined under LVM2 to a LVM_Dragoon volume group. Next, there are two usb sticks attached, (sdc, sdd). Sdd3 partition is controlled by LVM2. It contains a LVM_Momenta volume group. This volume group is the same, as volume group in bug report and previous screenshot. You can see, there is the same problem with the LVM_Momenta vg - no partitions detected by Yast2 partitions and something strange with the LVM_Dragoon vg. There are missing a lot of partitions, mainly "koren" - root (sytem, "/") and "domaci" - home ("/home") partition. Not only these two partitions are missing. In file "Output of lvs command" You can see all partitions of these volume groups. Lvs command was launched in console F2 of installation system after Yast2 partitioner didn't detect all of them. If someone uses the radeon.hdmimhz parameter he will for sure tell you in a bug report or a support request. You do not need to offer support for it though I believe that there is little difference between a setting with natural and overclocked TMDS if overclocking works (without blackscreening). To my experience overclocking the TMDS either causes a black screen or it will naturally cause all default graphics modes to be recognized that are possible under a specific TMDS frequency. It's just a worst case scenario so it needs to be mentioned. The bigger concern is running outside of specs. If we allow that, there is no way we can support the driver. And AMD cannot help either. Validated specs exists to give a safe zone where we can assume the hardware to operate properly. Being loose and allowing violations can cause major headaches later on and is therefore disliked by developers.
