Please report a bug report with logs. │ │ Run save_y2logs to get complete logs. │ │ Details: undefined method `ancestors' for nil:NilClass │ │ Caller: /usr/share/YaST2/modules/BootStorage.rb:198:in `stage1_disks_for' With this bug it is not possible to inspect or change any bootloader configuration. Hm, I'm not really sure how a mount command can work without spinning up the root disk. When executing the mount command, it loads some shared libraries and unless they are already in memory, they need to be fetched from the root disk, so it needs to spin up.
