Summary: taskbar icons do not show up (if applications are

Since I upgraded to Leap 15.0 I noticed this. Not sure if it's new though since
I haven't used autostart for many applications before.
Currently I'm autostarting a few applications in my Xfce environment:
- skype
- zoom
- spideroak
All of them are supposed to have a task icon. Specifically for example
spideroak and zoom cannot be fully exited from the main window but that needs
to be done from the right click menu of the taskbar icon.
But my observation is that in almost every session startup the zoom and
spideroak icons do not appear while this always works when they are started
manually.
My guess is a race condition when starting the desktop so they do not appear.
(If this should be better reported upstream, please let me know if I should do
this.)

it seems Leap 15 ships without aspell-de
is this not longer the default spellchecker for KDE apps like kwrite/kate?
