Per default, flatpakref can only be opened with gedit. However, it is possible to work around: If you do a "zypper install flatpak" and run "gnome-software --local-filename=someflatpakreffile.flatpakref" it installs perfectly. It just segfaults when attempting to launch it, and of course I don't really have experience in this kind of issues. Both maxima and xmaxima are working perfectly fine, only wxmaxima is affected.
