While the installer is booting we get nice feedback While the openSUSE installer is downloading. /download/file_0000 /download/file_0001 /download/file_0002 /download/file_0003 /download/file_0005 We get is no noticeable progress or sign the installer is still working. On a pxe system this can be a while. Since then - when I logout and then log back in I am presented with a password prompt. if I enter the root password the updater application then tells me no connection due to unauthorised access (or something similar) and if I enter no password then I get the same message. In addition - using the kde menu entries to either reboot or shutdown no longer work - they simply just log me out. rolling back polkit to 0.112-4.2 solves the issue. If I put in root for user and root password in the password space, it incorrectly says the password is incorrect.
