No, I did not. I have never heard of that being necessary. I guess that's the issue then, but it needs to be much more obvious, like a label in the UI! I did ask the internet and could only find one page about USB problems on openSUSE and it said something along the lines of "it just does not work"... > That's necessary with the openSUSE packages because of security concerns. Hm, what about a new "virtualbox-host-usb" package with those rules enabled? Actually not IMHO. I consider this a bug in the KMP support macros, but haven't found out yet where exactly. There's absolutely no need to install the virtualbox-guest-kmp-xxx packages on the host. A rebuild works with no other changes? gcj or libgcj changed, and pdftk did not rebuild automatically because of that? Or gcj changed and libgcj didn't rebuild automatically because of that? Or the other way around? The oddness in this spec file is because of the differences in how the packages have been named over time, and because of a peculiarity in the way the libgcj dependency needs to know to an actual file name at build-time (don't look at me, it's something weird about the way java or gcj works as far as I could tell). Very old fonts and fonts in ancient formats don't contain any Unicode map. They contain just up to 256 characters, and it is expected, that the locale has the same character map. If this map is present, the font can be loaded without specifying Unicode map. The map inside the font is used. New fonts support more thab 256 characters, and they embed a map between positions in font and Unicode characters. If the font is loaded without specifying Unicode map, the map inside the font is used. Regarding your test: Are you aware of a race condition that could affect your tests? See bug 904214. As far as I understand, fonts are correct even in Canadian and Slovak, but the keymap is bad. It could be the mentioned bug. Regarding the patch: https://github.com/yast/yast-country/pull/61/files You included Serbian locale (sr_RS.UTF-8), which uses Cyrillic. Serbian should definitely use font supporting Cyrillic. (In difference to sr@Latin locale, which uses Latin alphabet.) Regarding Japanese: It seems to be OK.
