Every time I disconnect/unload hid_picolcd module I get kernel dump/crash. When disabling the i915 driver with "brokenmodules=i915" it boots without problems every single time, as does booting with "linuxrc.debug=wait" so there seems to be some kind of race condition involved. This is on a MSI Wind U-100 with a Intel 945GME. (Go till a black screen writtin resuming... for ever with no ability to switch console) I'm using nvidia nvidia-gfxG02-kmp-default-190.42_2.6.31.5_0.1-8.2.x86_64 from nvidia repo. I have encountered no problems in burning UDF DVDs and BDs; however when it comes to mount them the dmesg says 'UDF-fs: No anchor found', 'UDF-fs: No partition found (1)'. However it is implemented with the vga= boot option which is by now deprecated. Usage of the vga= boot option leads to a kernel halt and refusal to do a suspend to disk. Better use uvesafb with uvesafb.mode_option=1600x1200-24@60 as kernel parameter. However this requires the v86d user space wrapper to be shipped with openSUSE.
