When the command xm start <vm>, the message that the system is turned off option vt-d (iommu) or the device is not under the control of the driver pciback. After rolling back to a version xen 4.1.3 performance is restored. Regarding the special network I use to log in, it offers the standard encryption methods (WEP/WPA), but not 'none'. Just in case I log in as root, I can set the network to 'without encryption' and establish it as 'system connection', which allows a normal user to make use of it Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Try to connect to an open WIFI network 2. No connection possible 3. Actual Results: The network is shown as encrypted, although it is not. The T520 has one of the new combined plugs for headsets (one jack with Mic and loudspeaker, as used with phones as well), instead of two separate plugs for Mic and loudspeaker. The effect is that once you plug in the single jack, it switches loudspeaker, but not microphone from build-in to external. You can not even select the external microphone in KMix, but in Pavucontrol (which is not installed by default). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. plug in headset 2. 3. At least my laptops require a partition to be activated for booting so that the USB stick is recognized as bootable device.
