As a workaround one can run pango-querymodules > '/etc/pango/pango.modules' in order to fix pango. Yet the user should not have to do that. Even with the focus in the edit field the edit field for the passphrase does not accept keyboard input (remains blank). I have to click on "Cancel" to continue.
