After awhile the battery monitor starts to incorrectly report that the battery level has dropped to somewhere around 25% which is incorrect. The battery is fully charged which can be demonstrated by simply rebooting the laptop and then the battery monitor will report the level as being between 95% and 100% fully charged. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Run the laptop for awhile (a few hours to a few days) with the AC power chord plugged in. 2. 3. Everything was fine until 'apper' found an update 'opensuse-2013-66' which updated 'packagekit' to (0.8.7-4.4.1). Subsequently, 'apper (0.7.2-6.2)' now fails with a segmentation fault every time it starts. I reverted 'packagekit' back to (0.7.4-2.9.1) and it works now. Looks like 'apper' needs to be updated at the same time as 'packagekit'? I could not find any update for apper. Applications that used these functions for UTF-8 input validation could expose themselves to security threats as invalid UTF-8 sequece would be considered as valid. This bug is fixed in upcoming Boost 1.53.
