It was present in 11.2 GTK+ GUI (as a combobox in the bottom part of the window) and it is present in 11.3 --qt GUI (as a radiobutton selection in the bottom part of the window, tab "Versions"). Yes, you can right click -> Show column -> Repository, but you can still only see the latest version repository and nothing else. You don't see other versions, you can not change the repository you want. (And even the Show column selection itself is forgot after quit.) Even "Options -> Allow vendor change" does not change the view in any way. Yes, you can run YaST2 --qt sw_single, but average GNOME user is not aware of it. Marking the bug as critical. It is a very annoing regression that makes impossible to perform some operations by an average user. For example this is not possible to do: - Select package from a particular repository. (Required while installing version sensitive library together with an application.) - Change a package from another repository. This is caused by the fact that kmail looses one line when writing it's configuration. In ~/.kde4/share/config there is a file called "mailtransports". Within it, the entry host=/usr/sbin/senmail is missing though configured via kmail. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.configure sendmail as email transpor agent for kmail, 2. try to send a message :-( 3. According to Takashi Iwai (the author of the ClickPad patches), the patches should already be applied to the 11.3 kernel. This renders the touchpad nearly useless as normal clicks move the pointer and unintended items are clicked accidently. The retry attempt usually works, but the continual nature of the notifications can be irritating. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Store a large number of files (large and small) on a Samba share 2. Select all of the files to be copied. 3. Copy and paste those files to a location on a Windows 7 machine Actual Results: Continual notifications appear in Windows prompting the user to retry copying due to "Too many files" being in use. Expected Results: The copy proceeds and completes silently. This issue has been confirmed in the Samba 3.4 series and details can be found at the following URL: https://bugs.launchpad.net/samba/+bug/462172 The issue was fixed in March 2010 by the Samba team, but does not appear to have made it into SuSE 11.2 yet. "auth optional pam_mount.so" in /etc/pam.d/common-auth "session optional pam_mount.so" in /etc/pam.d/common-session Everything works fine except ssh logins. Every login to ssh quits with: "Write failed: Broken pipe" sshd crashes with SIGSEGV while trying to strlen() an non-existent string. Same problem as here: http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=302964 I've applied the mentioned Patch and everything is working now. It's fixed upstream, but I think there's a Version Freeze on 11.3 so it's not possible to use a newer version. Some developer should attach the patch. btw: This patch is only a workaround! It prevents sshd of crashing, but AFAIK mounting doesn't work either this way. I have to "su - user" to mount encrypted partition after ssh-login.
