I could use /etc/csh.login.local, but for some reason any alias' I put in there don't work. Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: GUESSING. 1. Install OpenSuse 11.3 2. Extend path (setenv PATH "${PATH}:/usr/test/") in /etc/csh.cshrc.local and login to kde4 with tcsh default shell 3. Note /usr/test/ listed twice in PATH Actual Results: /usr/test/ only listed twice. Expected Results: /usr/test/ only listed once. I'm using an NFS home directory. No ~/.cshrc or ~/.tcshrc files I've been dealing with this strange issue for awhile now, but it's become untenable (either aliases are broken "/etc/csh.login.local", or the path is too long and other things break "/etc/csh.cshrc.local"). Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Start konsole, open a root session (File/Root Shell) (after activating the Root shell in Settings/Manage Profiles). 2.Change font size in the root session (Settings/Edit Current Profile/Appearance), then Apply and OK. 3.Then close konsole (File/Quit). 4.Try to start konsole from the start menu and it doesn't start. Actual Results: After one or two more attempts, konsole does start, but the font size of the root session is not changed. A few times the konsole window crashed while trying to close it (after changing font size for root). [y/n/?] y Removing NetworkManager-kde4-0.9.svn1057339-4.1 [done] Removing NetworkManager-kde4-libs-0.9.svn1057339-4.1 [done] Now I do as you suggested: $ ls -l /usr/lib64/libknm_nm.so ls: cannot access /usr/lib64/libknm_nm.so: No such file or directory $ ls -l /usr/lib/libknm_nm.so ls: cannot access /usr/lib/libknm_nm.so: No such file or directory So it the update actually removed NetworkManager-kde4-libs and it renders the system's networking unusable in KDE. I fixed it temporarily again by doing forced downgrades of NetworkMAnager-kde4 and NetworkManager-kde4-libs (which provides missing libknm_nm.so shared library). I can't post any logfiles because on the USB 3.0 ports everything but a mouse does not work (e.g. USB flash drives don't) and both network cards also don't work (r8169 and tulip). The two tick boxes for "extended search" disappear after every page load. Why? It doesn't even show the current search settings! The search options don't work in konqueror, even with javascript enabled. Requiring javascript to implement 2 HTML tick boxes on a simple web form is plain stupid. It's not even a feature (unless wasting user time is counted as feature). Apart from the above bug(s), the search is not intelligent enough to search for a specific package version. A simple substring search for "ghostscript-9" would work, but finds nothing. "ghostscript" finds 8 pages if irrelevant stuff. I need a 9.02 to verify a gs bug was fixed. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. No search options without javascript. 2. Click on search options, 2 tick boxes appear. 3. Search for anything, the resulting page doesn't show the search settings any more. 4. Try searching for ghostscript version 9.02 or higher Actual Results: Frustration and wasted time trying to find a package. Expected Results: Efficient package search, and current search settings displayed always. I am not sure whether "openSUSE Build Service" is the right product for this report. If it's not, can you please assign to what it should be?
