N-trig touchscreen stops working after upgrading opensuse from 11.3 to 11.4 It works normally wth finger, but completly ignores stylus. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. touch screen button with stylus Actual Results: nothing happens. Neither standard action nor custom command line works for xpdf. Opening the very same PDF-file with gv, gimp, ... works as expected. Apparently this is due to a problem with "/usr/share/applications/xpdf.desktop", removing the line "Path=" resolves the issue, so either the new version of pcmanfm doesn't interpret this line properly, or this line is a bug in xpdf. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install pcmanfm-0.9.9_rc3-0.3.1.i586.rp 2. Right click on a PDF-file on desktop, select "XPDF" 3. Maybe some gnome-conf user or whatever. However, the SQL injections have to be fixed nevertheless. A shortcoming in policykit should not force other daemons to run as root IMHO. When the battery charge reaches the critical percentage, KDE locks the screen (locks the session), but does not hibernate. This causes the power to fall down suddenly when the battery is completely uncharged, and the user to lost unsaved work. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Power on the laptop and wait for battery reaches the critical percentage. 2. Then, a knotify message is displayed, it says that computer will hibernate in 30 seconds. 3. Wait those 30 seconds, and you will see how the session is locked, but the computer is not hibernated. Actual Results: The computer is not hibernated when battery charge is critical low. Expected Results: The computer should hibernate when battery charge reaches critical low percentage. However on resume, I get a blank screen and nothing happens (ie no password prompt appears). Pressing CTRl+ALT F7 appears to kick-start things a bit but while I can get a console by pressing CTRL+ALT F1-F9, none of them accept keyboard input. Sometimes CTRL+ALT F7 will result in a password prompt and I can unlock my session. However, when checking with top, s2ram uses 100% of the CPU. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Login to a KDE session 2.Press suspend button/close lid 3.Press PowerOn button Actual Results: Blank screen and no passowrd prompt displayed ressing CTRL+ALT+F7 followed by a random combination of CTRL+ALT+F1 and CTRL+ALT+F7 will sometimes give a password prompt unlocking the session and using top shows s2ram to run at 100 % KDE Network manager is disabled(bug 552862) Expected Results: password prompt appears s2ram does not use 100% of CPU network is not disabled The way of obtaining the password prompt is somewhat random. When I don't manage to get the prompt a CTRL-BACKSPACE to restart the X server works as well. However, that results in a potential loss of data.
