Could you attach lspci -v of that device? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

What's the output of /bin/echo after you write to bind on n-trig? The device is supported by the driver and there is no relevant change in the code as much as I can see. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

2. Trying to bind device to n-trig module. -- FAILED cd /sys/bus/hid/drivers/ntrig echo 7-2:1.0 > bind bash: echo: write error: No such device echo 7-2:1.1 > bind bash: echo: write error: No such device
This is wrong. You are mixing HID devices with USB devices. What's output of ls -l /sys/bus/hid/drivers/* ? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

I've found solution. It was Xorg's wacom driver take over the n-trig. I've renamed file 50-wacom.conf to 05-wacom.conf and now it works normally.

You mean evdev driver took over control (10-evdev.conf) and now you forced wacom driver to take over the control by renaming the config files? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

The patch above is only a temporary workaround which should be deleted with the next version update.
This has now happened for upcoming openSUSE 12.1. Already checked in into obs://X11:XOrg and will be submitted later to openSUSE:Factory. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
