I have downloaded LIVE CD KDE Build 56, installed it on computer using LVM
setup:
sda1 - /boot
sda2 sdb sdc sdd - LVM volume system with 3 partitions:
16GB - Swap
100GB - /
1.05TB - /home
After installation it was not possible to bot computer, it was Hanging on AHCI
detection, it was not even possible to enter bios
I had to unconnect power from disk sda to be able to enter bios,
In bios I have disabled all the disk detection,
Then booted to back to live CD and removed all the LVM stuff,
Right now I just have switched to BIOS Raid, and all works fine.
Mainboard: ASUS P5K-E Delux
Disks: 4x 320GB
Btw. I don't exactly remember but I might already had LVM on that machine
earlier without problems (it had to be before openSuSE 11.2).
Reproducible: Didn't try
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Boot live CD KDE
2. Install system using LVM
3. Reboot computer
Actual Results:
BIOS Hangs
Expected Results:
Working computer boot
