With this, nsupdate can use kerberos and modify DNS in a secure way. I modified the timezone from an American one to Europe->Germany. I then wanted to set the NTP server by using the chaNge button. The time was retrieved from the NTP, but because the timezone was not set yet, the time was wrong by several hours. I could fix this at runtime by doing: mv /etc/localtime /etc/localtime-old ln -sf /usr/share/zoneinfo/Europe/Berlin /etc/localtime and setting "Berlin" in: /etc/sysconfig/clock TIMEZONE="Berlin" Then going back to the Yast2 Window and refreshing the time through NTP gave me the right time. It doesn't seem to be a problem of iotop itself, however, as binary from OpenSuSE 11.2, run under 11.3 and chrooted to root directory of 11.2 installation, behaves the same (under 11.2 it's OK). This crash does NOT happen with cups 1.3.x provided by the distribution and also did not happen with later 1.4 versions installed. It did appear after an update to 1.4.4-48 about a week ago. As it is now, the "bottom" progress bar stays at 0% while downloading, giving no clue as to whether this will take ages or just a few seconds more... Too bad! Actual Results: Observed with TCP dump that the connection wizard was attempting ICMP echo to the printer ip address and then failing without ever attempting a tcp connection on the port specified. (Telnet from console on the tcp port to the printer works fine) Expected Results: Connection wizard should not rely on ICMP echo to check the availability of a device. A connection to the actual TCP port specified should instead be attempted. The yast2 log shows that it fails when re-reading /var/lib/YaST2/autodetected_print_queues.ycp (see attached y2log snippet). Yast2 printer then permanently fails, and not printers can be configured anymore. Previously configures printers keep working, though. To recover, I had to change the printer description string in /etc/printcap, /etc/cups/printers.conf and /etc/cups/printers.conf.0, removing the ". Afterwards, everything is back to normal. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. add a printer with yast2. 2. edit the printer entry, use " anywhere in the description string 3. click "finish" Actual Results: Yast2 fails to read /var/lib/YaST2/autodetected_print_queues.ycp and displays an error message. Printer configuration from now on permanently fails for this reason. Expected Results: Yast2 does not fail, but catch entering quotes in the description string. This bug is also present in 11.2. I just want to ask you if it is possible to upgrade FreeRADIUS from the 2.1.8 to the 2.1.9 both from main updates and from build service. There are many bug fixes to exclude it from being uploaded in the updates or, at least, in the build service related repositories, such as: http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/network:/aaa/ I havn't seen it neither in the Build Service Factory build. I have attached the full changelog history and I repeat below the partial changelog starting from the 2.1.8 out to the 2.1.9. Other databases already had the fix. * Fix rlm_sql to show when it opens and closes sockets. It already says when it cannot connect, so it should say when it can connect. * "chmod -x" for a few C source files. * Pull update spec files, etc. from RedHat into the redhat/ directory. * Allow spaces when parsing integer values. This helps people who put "too much" into an SQL value field. That issue is going to trigger a lot of bugreports like Bug #614734.
