For instance, the sw_single module is not shown, but it is surely installed since I can use it. >From a message in the oS-factory mailing list, the cause should be: Some of the desktop files have "Exec=/sbin/yast ..." while other have "Exec=xdg-su -c /sbin/yast2 ...". Only the first once are shown. The script must be adapted. Running 'mount -av' showed that, despite having a credentials parameter, the wrong username was being supplied and a password was being prompted for. I can mount these shares by supplying user and pass on the commandline or directly in fstab. The issue seems to be the reading of the credentials file and/or the user of those details. It was present in 11.2 GTK+ GUI (as a combobox in the bottom part of the window) and it is present in 11.3 --qt GUI (as a radiobutton selection in the bottom part of the window, tab "Versions"). Yes, you can right click -> Show column -> Repository, but you can still only see the latest version repository and nothing else. You don't see other versions, you can not change the repository you want. (And even the Show column selection itself is forgot after quit.) Even "Options -> Allow vendor change" does not change the view in any way. Yes, you can run YaST2 --qt sw_single, but average GNOME user is not aware of it. Marking the bug as critical. It is a very annoing regression that makes impossible to perform some operations by an average user. For example this is not possible to do: - Select package from a particular repository. (Required while installing version sensitive library together with an application.) - Change a package from another repository. This is caused by the fact that kmail looses one line when writing it's configuration. In ~/.kde4/share/config there is a file called "mailtransports". Within it, the entry host=/usr/sbin/senmail is missing though configured via kmail. This was an update from 11.2 (zypper dup) and I noticed that DeviceKit-Power does not exist anymore, could this be causing this problem? An strace of mount.cifs clearly shows that it is never even accessing the credentials file.
