Now, if the Contrib repository is added, smart and yum (and maybe other package managers - did not test zypp) will immediately replace python-setuptools with python-distribute because the semantics of "B obsoletes A" is "B is an upgrade to A". That's far more intrusive than the previous situation with the "Conflicts" tag. In general, it does not make any sense to ever have "B obsoletes A" in a distribution (i.e as long as A is not dropped from the distribution) because then A cannot be used without blacklisting B in the package manager. Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce: 1. upgrade factory to post gcc 4.5 Actual Results: the libstdc++.so.6 is installed very late thus some of the actions packages do while installing fail. I found that OOo might autodetect the highcontrast mode. Does it help you to disable the check box "Tools/Options/OpenOfifce.org/Accessibility/Automatically detect high contrast mode of operating system"? That in fact was the answer. With a dark theme, the option (which is set by default): "Tools/Options/OpenOfifce.org/Accessibility/Automatically detect high contrast mode of operating system" completely prevents the user from being able to change the toolbar icons and sticks the user with the high-contrast set. With KDE4 and Gnome, to some extent, making heavy use of "dark themes" this problem will likely catch a lot of people. My first thought was to "just disable the setting by default". Why are we setting defaults to handle "minority" situations when then adversely impact a majority of user who have no clue that an "Accessibility" setting might prevent them from changing toolbar icons if they try a dark theme. A better approach would be disabling the setting and then if a user incorporates a dark theme and then finds he needs the high-contrast icons, then let him go select the high-contrast icons or enable the high-contrast accessibility setting. Granted, with the number of dark themes out there by default in KDE4, OO should be able to handle this without a game of hide-n-seek through the settings. Keep up the great work with OO. A workaround is to add the device's path to the local collection in the configure dialog of Amarok (or checking "/media"), but it isn't a nice way to do it. Expected Results: KVM should not crash the guest VM KVM compiled from source at http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/Virtualization/openSUSE_11.4/src/ using just --with spice parameter to rpmbuild Current software versions: Kernel 2.6.37.6-0.5-desktop KVM kvm-0.14.1.0-108.1.x86_64 libvirt libvirt-0.9.3-138.2.x86_64 spice-client spice-client-0.8.1-1.1.x86_64 soice server libspice-server1-0.8.1-1.1.x86_64 Note the very large memory allocation to the qxl graphics driver in the qemu-kvm command line in the attachment. Don't know if this is relevant. Please do keep in mind that this always happens ONLY on the first start of a VM, not subsequent starts so the bug can only be in things that persist over multiple invocations which rules out many of the components. The only log entry tied to this event is the virtio trying to map MMIO memory which doesn't appear on subsequent starts where it doesn't crash. This is the most obvious clue. Perhaps there is a timeout error when this is attempted the first time but is done and available for subsequent starts which may indicate a problem with upstream qemu in the kernel. I am just guessing here.
