It appeared that kdm did not start with the errror message: "X server died during startup" and "X server for display :0 cannot be started, session disabled". I repeated the startup using SystemV (F5) and got the same. I also tried "nomodeset" in the startup line, but that did not help either. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3.
