This may have no impact. ... I'm just trying to understand how the /etc/modprobe.d/50-sound.conf file was loaded, and I stumbled upon this code when I did an "grep -i modprobe * " in the /etc/init.d directory. I am not a programmer. Is this intended to remain? Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. go to /etc/init.d directory and type: grep -i modprobe * 2. 3. Expected Results: This has no impact that I know about. It is just confusing for someone trying to understand. My developement postfix does not use encrytpion and the result from the postconf command on line 130 is "$smtp_tl_cert_file", and $smtp_tl_tl_cert_file is unset. The test on 131 is passed, and the value of DIR on line 133 becomes "." and 134 becomes "cpifnewer $smtp_tls_cert_file ./." with nothing in $smtp_tls_cert_file. There was a similar problem several years ago. Since it is deleting files, I would suggest that cpifnewer does some basic sanity checking. When calling them from them init script, it looks like this: carrier5:~ # /etc/init.d/boot.multipath start Creating multipath targets:/etc/init.d/boot.multipath: line 59: 7695 Segmentation fault $PROGRAM -v 0 timeout waiting for devices failed carrier5:~ # /etc/init.d/multipathd start Starting multipathd (no pidfile) failed This means that currently there is no multipath support in openSUSE 11.2. The strange thing is that the "open-file-dialog" works if I use it just to open a file within Firefox itself. When I try to do that from within Zotero, nothing happens. The problem is clearly related to the KDE-integration, since without it (after deinstalling mozilla-xulrunner191-kde4), everything works as it should. (My Firefox-version is 3.5.3, Zotero version is 1.10., KDE is 4.3.2. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. install all of the software (see above) 2. go to an entry within Zotero, try to attach a file from disk (or to link to one) via the appropriate dialog Actual Results: Wait (forever, I guess). The file dialog will be closed, but nothing else will happen.
