The reason for this comes out of the recently integrated poppler patch. The attachements below fix this behaviour and fix the build issues with libpng compat on 64 Bit systems, too. Someone from opensuse was solving this yet. After the reboot I have a completely blank screen - the X server is running but not doing anything usefull at all. Switching to the text console and kill X, I see on console 1: "Starting YaST". Seems that the system didn't get informed that X was running and therefore did not run YaST at all... The system is finished with a black screen after reboot via live installer. Tried factory Gnome LiveCD, build 0552 and KDE LiveCD, build 0553.
