Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Prepare for an installation 2. When the installation has started, switch to the "Details" tabs 3. Observe that the progress window works very nicely as long as the window maximum size has not been reached -- As soon as the maximum size has been reached, the progress is no longer shown, nor is it possible to use the scroll bar to see want is going on. Actual Results: The progress window stops showing the current progress of the installation, just as the scroll bar cannot be used to move down in order to be able to see, what is currently going on. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Have a system with ESB2 / ICHXR and LSI firmware 2. Install openSUSE 11.2 on a SATA RAID Actual Results: There is no boot record written : Error 22: No such partition Expected Results: Sucessful installation I was able to bypass the problem with the missing bootrecord, but afterwards the kernel was not able to access the root partition ( /dev/mapper/ddf1_......part4 ). Ignoring that the system should have a RAID0 the system could be started with root=/dev/sda4 . This happens only when selecting/unselecting packages with automatically resolved dependencies. In KDE4 desktop it needs just to move the mouse pointer to trigger redrawing. In desktop with e16 (enlightenment) nothing but clicking on accept button causes to redraw the checkboxes. However this the internal checkbox state seems to be correct all the time.
